
Overview
Acibadem City Clinic Vitosha University Hospital is a high-tech multidisciplinary hospital in Sofia, bringing together established medical specialists, state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment, and international standards for quality and patient safety.
The hospital opened on 27 May 2025 as a new and expanded facility of Acibadem City Clinic. It is located at 1 Konstantin Pomyanov Street, close to the Sofia Ring Road.
The building extends over seven levels—two underground and five above ground—with a total floor area of nearly 14,000 square metres. The hospital complex has more than 170 beds, six operating theatres, two angiography laboratories, a modern intensive care unit, an emergency department, and a diagnostic and consultation centre with over 35 consulting rooms.
For patients’ convenience, the complex includes a pharmacy and two car parks—one within the hospital grounds and another located nearby. There is also a hotel in the vicinity, suitable for patients and their companions travelling from other parts of Bulgaria or from abroad.

Diagnostics and Inpatient Treatment
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and laboratories, modern clinical departments, and specialised medical units. The operating theatre complex and the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care ensure the necessary level of safety during surgical procedures and intensive care treatment.
Patients are accommodated in modern single, double, or triple rooms. The electronic management of medical information facilitates efficient service and ensures the accuracy and traceability of patients’ health data.
Preventive Care and Early Diagnosis
Acibadem City Clinic Vitosha University Hospital offers preventive healthcare packages focused on the prevention and early detection of cardiovascular and other socially significant diseases. Comprehensive preventive and diagnostic programmes are also available for women and men.
International Patients
The hospital provides medical services to Bulgarian and international patients, including clients of international insurance companies, corporate organisations, diplomatic missions and embassies, as well as foreign nationals residing permanently or temporarily in Bulgaria.
