Dr. Gerasim Temelkov is a distinguished specialist in gastroenterology and internal medicine with over 14 years of international medical experience, including in Germany, where he built an outstanding career and became one of the few Bulgarians recognized abroad at an expert level.
He graduated from the Medical University of Sofia and continued his education and professional development at some of the most prestigious medical institutions in Germany – the University Hospital Düsseldorf and the University Hospital Münster.
For two years, he headed the Department of Gastroenterology, Oncology, and Metabolic Diseases at the Ahaus Clinic (Germany), a teaching base of the University of Münster. There, he actively participated in the German national program for early detection of colorectal cancer and was a member of the multidisciplinary oncology board at the University Hospital Münster.
