The i-Health healthcare platform is expanding its partner network of medical specialists with the addition of Dr. Petya Hubenova – a specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care, Doctor of Medicine, lecturer, and clinician with more than 14 years of professional experience.
Dr. Hubenova has extensive clinical experience in anesthesiology, intensive care, pre-anesthetic assessment and patient preparation, as well as medical monitoring during various procedures. Her professional path is closely connected with Alexandrovska University Hospital in Sofia, where she has gone through different stages of clinical and academic development – from resident physician to specialist, Doctor of Medicine, and Chief Assistant Professor at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care.
Through the i-Health platform, Dr. Hubenova will provide anesthesiology care, pre-anesthetic consultations, and sedation for dental and gastroenterological procedures. The focus of her work is patient safety, individual assessment, comfort during the procedure, and professional medical monitoring.
In 2021, Dr. Hubenova defended her educational and scientific degree “Doctor” in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Medical University – Sofia. She also has international experience gained at the leading university hospital Hôpital Bichat-Claude Bernard in Paris, France, where she expanded her clinical expertise in anesthesiology and intensive care.
Her professional interests are focused on modern anesthesiology, intensive medicine, pain management, patient safety, and integrative approaches to maintaining health and quality of life.
